Over the last few years I have made hundreds of presentations to tens of thousands of Americans in more than 20 states. In many of those presentations I asked what the attendees would do if someone was threatening their child or grandchild. The responses always suggested it would not be good to be the person doing the threatening. It was unanimous that these people would do whatever they could to protect their offspring. That is what makes it so difficult for me to understand why so many of us continue sit on our hands while our children are being threatened every day.
Mahatma Gandhi once said: “The true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members.” Our children are among the most vulnerable in our society. We have allowed our government entities to constantly and continuously put our children at risk. Using the guise of diversity, equity, and inclusion, administrators and teachers in too many government schools teach our children Critical Race Theory (CRT). CRT tells children they should be ashamed to be white because they are imbued with white privilege. That if they are children of color they are helpless victims who will not be able to succeed because of their skin color. This indoctrination starts in elementary school and is not only untrue, it is harmful to all children.
We recently learned that more than a dozen government schools in Virginia delayed informing the winners of the National Merit Scholarship exams. The administrators who made these egregious decisions did so in the name of “equity”. Essentially they said they didn’t want to hurt the feelings of the students who didn’t qualify. Delaying that information may have led to students not being accepted at their college of choice, and cost them untold thousands of dollars in scholarships.
Some states are passing laws that will allow underage government school children to make serious, life altering, decisions about their health without permission from their parents. The federal government is mandating that boys be allowed in girl’s locker rooms and to participate on girl’s athletic teams. These laws suggest that the government knows better than parents what is good for our children. It hints that our children belong to the government instead of to their parents.
Every day/week we read of another instance where children are confronted with one form of depravity or another. Too many government school administrators think it is perfectly okay to invite drag queens into our elementary schools to read to our children. Elementary age children are being introduced to sexually explicit library books that, because of their graphic nature, are not permitted to be read aloud to adult school board members at school board meetings! A few day ago, 30 middle schoolers were bussed on a “field trip” to an event that included a drag queen show in Missouri. Parents were not notified.
While writing this blog I was reminded of the Billy Dean Jr. country song: “Let them be little.” While writing this blog, the lyrics brought a tear to my eyes. There is a Left wing government push to steal childhood from our children. I hope they help move you to get off your couch and get involved to protect the innocence of our children. Here are the lyrics: I can remember when you fit in the palm of my hand. You felt so good in it, no bigger than a minute. How it amazes me you’re changing with every blink. Faster than a flower blooms, they grow up too soon. Chorus: So let them be little, ‘Cause they’re only that way for a while. Give ’em hope, give them praise, Give them love every day. Let ’em cry, let ’em giggle, Let ’em sleep in the middle. Oh, but let them be little. I never felt so much in one little tender touch. I live for those kisses, your prayers an’ your wishes. An’ now you’re teachin’ me how only a child can see. Tonight, while we’re on our knees, all I ask is: Let them be little. Chorus: The so innocent, precious soul, You turn around, an’ its time to let them go. Chorus: Let them be little. (Go online and listen to the lyrics. It is more powerful than reading them).
The government’s attempt to kidnap our children cannot succeed unless we adults allow it to happen. Stand up! Either do something to stop the insanity or stop telling everyone what you would do if someone harmed your children. YOUR CHILDREN ARE BEING HARMED. A movement has started. I have written about the hero mama bears who are already standing against government school boards. They are finding success. Go to the internet and find out which, of a number of organizations, are active in your community. They don’t need your money. They need your involvement. Organize grandparents in your community and replace the drag queens reading hour with a grandparents reading hour. Which do you think would mean the most to your children? The children are helpless without us. Let’s not let them down. Let’s do everything we can to, “Let them be little.”
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I hope you will take it very seriously. I hope you will share it with your friends. Thank you, Bob
I have heard of books that school boards don’t like being read at board meeting. Is there a list of these books that the parents could check their school libraries for?
Mike,
Yes there is. I don’t have a copy of the list, but a list does exist. I’ll see if I can get a list from one of the mama bear groups I am working with. I’ll let you know when I receive it, and will include it in one of my upcoming blogs.
Thanks, Bob
