We are now inside of two weeks before the crucial midterm election. I don’t consider myself an alarmist. I don’t, therefore, think a Democrat victory in the upcoming election spells immediate doom for our great nation. I do believe a Dem. victory will advance the socialist cause and will make it more difficult to reverse the already large gains made by Progressive Democrats and their Socialist (PDS) allies.
There are a couple of kinds of slavery. We abolished the oldest and cruelest kind a long time ago. Another form, very cruel in its own way, is alive and growing in our country. This form of slavery strips human dignity as it strives to create more people dependent on government for their survival. It removes the ability to make one’s own decisions. In doing so it steals the freedom people need to thrive. It is like a cancer that, unless removed, will consume and ultimately kill its host. The cancer festering in the U.S. started about a century ago. It is better known as socialism. PDS leaders are working overtime to help this socialist cancer metastasize from its beginnings on both coasts to the entire nation. It will be successful unless we begin to attack it now. The good news is that we don’t need to be Oncologists to get rid of the disease. We only need to be clear-eyed patriots who love our country, and vote against those pushing this suicidal agenda.
The PDS’ understand the allure of “free” programs. When they scream tax the rich and rail against the unfairness of income inequality, poor people pay attention. (That is why the PDS plan is to create lots of poor people). Yet, it is always in socialistic countries where you find the greatest chasm between the rich and the poor. The leaders own everything, the people own nothing. Leaders of the World Economic Forum (socialists) have repeatedly said: “You will own nothing, and you will be happy”. If we elect these evil people, they will certainly create the mechanisms to take away our possessions. There is nothing they can do to demand we be happy. When socialists confiscate $10 from one rich person and give $1 to ten poor people, they lose 1 vote but gain 10. The PDS like that math. That 1 person is poorer doesn’t bother them because their ultimate goal is to create a population that is equal, equally poor. It was the British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, who said: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money”. Truer words were never spoken.
The events unfolding right now in France are most likely prologue for what other Western European countries, and eventually the U.S., will have to deal with in the not-too-distant future. As you may know, France has perhaps the most generous welfare programs in the world. Many of their government benefits are provided to residents as well as citizens. To pay for all of the “free” benefits, French people are the highest taxed in the world. Go figure. When France opened its borders, they should not have been surprised by the crush of immigrants looking to take advantage of those programs. (The French are learning it is particularly onerous to cover residents who have contributed nothing to the country). Most of the immigrants were Muslims from North Africa and the Middle East. Even the most generous social benefits in the world weren’t enough to satisfy the rioters. They want MORE! The current rioting proves one of my long-held beliefs. That is: There has always been givers and takers in this world. The givers must start setting limits, because the takers never will.
If we elect PDS members the “free” programs they demand would make the French look like beginners. The PDS political wish list in the USA includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Free Medicare for all, (UAW members, teachers, and many others will be required to replace their “best of class” health plans with an inferior government plan. I’ll bet they don’t have a clue). 2. They would ultimately get rid of fossil fuels, replacing them with inferior, more expensive alternatives. 3. They would defund the police, eliminate ICE, and release convicted criminals from prison, and they would discontinue the deportation of illegal aliens, including criminals. Please take a few seconds and imagine the chaos that would ensue and the sense of helplessness we would suffer if their policies ever came to pass. 4. They would reopen our southern border and invite millions of people to enter our country. 5. They would cancel student debt. 6. They will abolish the Senate, the Electoral College, and restructure the office of the President. 7. They would pack the Supreme Court. (Don’t take my word for it. Check out the DSA platform that has been mostly adopted by the Dem. Party). All of the above must lead to higher taxes and the loss of precious freedoms.
I can’t imagine there are very many people who are still undecided about for whom they will vote. It is truly perplexing to me. At the end of the day, we are not being asked to choose between Republicans and Democrats. We are choosing between common sense and danger. I am not intelligent enough to understand how American patriots would vote to support the suffocating policies put forth by the socialists because gas prices are too high. Is it wise to elect people who don’t believe in our Constitution? Why would we vote to forfeit the freedoms that have made this country the greatest in the world? Such a vote will take those freedoms away from Americans forever. Such a grave risk, just to spite a President who will only be in office another 2 years, is at best shortsighted. Please think about your children and grandchildren before you mark your ballot. Whatever else you do, get to the polls and make your voice be heard. Freedom is worth the effort to vote.
