Are you an ostrich or a patriot?

Actions taken prior to, and during, the 2020 election by an ever emboldened ruling class of Democrats exhibited complete disdain for the American people. They ignored, even denied, our right to elect those we wish to represent us. They made every attempt to disenfranchise voters all over the U.S. They neglected the Constitution at every turn. Their poisoning of the election process would have been impossible if the media had fulfilled its duty as the watchdog of governmental corruption. Alas the watchdog has morphed into a lapdog for the Left. The American people have no mechanism to investigate such widespread corruption individually. Now that it appears our elections have been compromised we have lost the ability to vote the crooks out every two, four, or six years. We have arrived at that point where we have little recourse against those who would gain power at our expense.

For too long we have blindly trusted our elected representatives to do our bidding. We trusted they would put our interests ahead of their own. We have been too busy enjoying the bounty of this great nation to check up on their actions. Shame on us! Our lack of attention finds the greatest nation on earth on the precipice of the complete Socialist takeover of our government. If democrats win the two runoff elections in Georgia on January 5th we will not recognize our country two years from now.

We correctly identify the democrats as the bad guys in this election fiasco. We are also correct to scorn the media for its complicit behavior. But let’s not give republicans a pass in this instance. Republicans control the legislatures in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, all critical battleground states. Why did they allow democrats to change the voting process in their states? Why weren’t steps taken to insure that republicans were on site and active during the counting of votes? Why wasn’t there a law enforcement presence to see that all parties were involved and treated fairly? Many organizations on both sides of the aisle reported that the opportunity for voter fraud was greatest in the mail in voting process. Why didn’t republican law makers outlaw all mail voting processes other than absentee ballots? Why didn’t they require that all ballots received through the mail must be kept with their envelopes so that signatures could be matched? There are other whys that could be asked. Suffice to say republicans bear a measure of guilt in this whole mess.

It seems to me that we have arrived at a critical juncture in American history. We are left with choosing one of a few options. 1. We can continue to trust politicians to put our interests ahead of their own. If you would choose this option please save yourself ten minutes and don’t read any farther. You are simply too gullible to be useful. 2. We can trust the media to start reporting the truth so that Americans can make intelligent decisions. If you trust the media please see my response to number 1. above. 3. We can trust politicians to address the voter fraud we saw in this year’s election. We can hope their changes make this year an anomaly and ensure future elections will be free, fair, and transparent. Trust and hope are not words we should use in the same sentence with the word politician. 4. You can join me in confronting your elected representatives in state legislatures. This is where the rubber meets the road!

The U.S. Constitution mandates that state legislatures are solely responsible for establishing election laws. The Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and State Supreme Court, are relegated to bystanders in creating election law. I am putting together a list of items to be included in legislation that I will fight to get passed in Michigan in 2021. The list will include: providing absentee ballots for a limited number of reasons only, signature matches required on all absentee ballots, and insist that absentee ballots must be returned by the voter or immediate family member who must show ID and sign an affidavit stating their relationship to the voter. Absentee ballots must be received by the closing of the polls on election day. With this change the date of the postmark becomes irrelevant. We will insist on returning to hand counted, in-person, paper ballots and photo voter IDs. I am convinced that machines will be manipulated. If it takes longer to report the final count so be it. Voter fraud today is treated like a jaywalking violation. A typical penalty today is probation and a small fine. This is not a deterrent. Stealing my vote in an election takes away my voice and my citizenship. It should be treated as the serious crime it is. Therefor our legislation will include severe penalties including serious prison time and hefty fines for committing voter fraud.

The title of this post is ostrich or patriot? I am making a completely nonpartisan request. It doesn’t matter whether you are a democrat or a republican. I can’t imagine that anyone reading this post supports voter fraud, or wants to see a repeat of this election. I don’t care about your political affiliation, I need your help to get the changes necessary to clean up our election process. Ostriches will stick their heads in the sand and hope that someone else will do what needs to be done. Patriots will decide they have had enough! I am asking those who care deeply about their children, grandchildren, and country to help get it done. If you have ideas, other than what I listed above, that belong in our legislation, please tell me about them in the comment section of this post. If you are willing to help circulate petitions please let me know in the comment section. If you agree with this post please give your friends the address of this blog and ask them to read it. I will be starting in Michigan early next year. If I get support from people in other states I will work with them to get similar legislation passed in their states. It is time for us to remember that politicians work for us. It is time that they hear from us. I need your help. Thank you.

I’ll help with that petition drive and know others that will also. Training will have to take place for lots of people so the petitions are in order

Thanks for stepping up. I have sent an email to Sen. John Bizon and Rep. Jim Haadsma requesting a face to face before Christmas. I will do some work while I am in Florida so that we will be prepared to go in early March. My plan is to get a large number of legislators to co-sponsor the legislation. It may actually take more than one piece of legislation. I will keep you in the loop. Thanks again for being a patriot!
