On November 19, 1863, as the Civil War was nearing conclusion, President Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous Gettysburg Address. He concluded his short speech by saying that “government Of the People, By the People, and For the People, shall not perish from the earth.” Coming less than 100 years after the Declaration of Independence and the completion of our Constitution, his comments might have been accepted as sort of matter of fact. Due to the government’s gradual usurpation of our rights, and the people’s lack of interest in defending those rights, Lincoln’s words begin to ring hollow. Today, our government is Of the Government, By the Government, and For the Government, and the apparatchiks who operate it.

Our government does nothing to earn any of the revenue it receives. 100% of the money our government spends, pays government salaries with, and wastes, is confiscated from the People. It follows that we have a right to know what is going on within the government we fund. Year after year scandals are covered up by political parties, corrupt government agencies, and a biased press/media that threatens the very future of our Republic. The corruption at the upper levels of our government is breathtakingly obvious to anyone with the willingness to see it.

The overriding question of this blog is, where does the government derive the authority to keep important information from We the People? There are enough instances of government coverup and press/media bias to fill a book. In the sake of time I will mention just a few.

In that the anniversary of the JFK assassination just passed, I’ll start with that. On 11/22/1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. A week after his death, his successor, Lyndon B. Johnson, appointed the Warren Commission to investigate the assassination. In September of the following year the final report was given to Johnson. It concluded there was 1 shooter, and stated there was no evidence of a conspiracy, or involvement by a foreign country. No proof was given to substantiate the theory of a lone gunman. No evidence was produced to disprove the involvement of a foreign entity. Was Johnson involved in an attempt to satisfy his never ending thirst for power? Everything was done to ensure we could never know how, or why, our beloved President was killed. Shortly thereafter, the unpublished portion of the report was sealed for 75 years, as per federal law, and sent to the National Archives for storage. That 75 years all but guaranteed that nobody old enough to understand the assassination when it happened, would be around to read the report. In 1992, Congress passed the President JFK Assassination Records Collection Act. All of the documents were supposed to be released by 2017. The final date has been postponed multiple times. All the while the government has been slowly declassifying, redacting, and withholding, many of those documents. Larry Sabato, a professor at the University of Virginia, has been teaching about the Kennedy assassination for years. He wonders why thousands of pages of the report remain classified. President Kennedy’s assassination remains a sad day in American history. The fact that those who elected Kennedy are kept in the dark about the circumstances surrounding his death is a black mark against our government.

In 2005, the Palm Beach, Fl. Police Department began an investigation of billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein. They were following up on a complaint from a mother who accused him of sexually assaulting her 14 year old daughter. As the investigation expanded, the FBI was called in. The FBI compiled reports on 34 confirmed minors whose allegations of sexual abuse included corroborating details. In state court, thanks to a multimillion dollar team of attorneys, and an apparently complicit prosecutor, the creep was allowed to plead guilty to a single count of procuring a CHILD for prostitution, and another for soliciting a prostitute. He spent about 13 months in a low security facility with daily work related releases. His plea deal included an unbelievable Non-Prosecutorial Agreement that shielded him from any federal prosecution. Creeps being creeps, he was arrested again in July of 2019 for allegedly sex trafficking minors in Florida and New York. He died in his cell 1 month later. The N.Y. coroner declared his death a suicide. Outside professionals have repeatedly said the evidence doesn’t lead to that conclusion. Coincidentally, both of the cameras trained on the creep’s cell malfunctioned during his suicide. Hmmm. While we don’t know that his “clients” partook in the illegal sex trafficking of minors, we do know they include past Presidents, corporate CEOs, members of multiple royal families, and various and sundry high profile people. That we don’t know who the other end users of the sex trafficking are is unconscionable. These scoundrels are walking among our children, perhaps even hiring them as interns. Perhaps we are being kept in the dark because the government finds itself in a dilemma. They can’t tell us who the bad guys are, because they are them.

Our government has slowly been manipulated until it is no longer Of the People, By the People, etc. Nearly every branch of our government has been, or is being, weaponized against our best interests. Those looking to corrupt, perhaps overthrow, our country are responsible for the weaponization. There are ways, other than outright voter fraud, to manipulate the future of a nation.

In October of 2017, the IRS signed a consent decree in federal court in which it admitted to targeting conservative organizations for more than two years, from 2010 through 2013. The scheme targeted hundreds of organizations, like the Tea Party, whose titles hinted a conservative bent. The groups had their applications for tax exempt status denied, or delayed until after the 2012 election. A number of research groups concluded that a fully mobilized Tea Party, unhindered by IRS harassment, would have brought an additional 5-8.5 million votes to the Republican Party. For those with poor memories, Obama won the popular vote by just under 5 million votes. Obama, the king of style over substance, assured the American people that those in the IRS, who were largely responsible for his election, would be held accountable. Nobody ever was. In fact, Lois Lerner, the IRS Director of Exempt Organizations Unit, retired from the IRS with full pension and government benefits while the investigation was ongoing. “. . . Of the Government, By the Government, etc. . . . ”

On October 14, 2020, the N.Y. Post printed an article on Twitter concerning damning information it found on Hunter Biden’s personal laptop. That launched the D.C. ruling class, including career intelligence officers, big tech, and the press/media, into action. Twitter, and its social media brethren, at the behest of the government, froze the N.Y. Post account. They also froze the accounts of any group, or individual, who tried to forward/share the article. The FBI verified the laptop’s authenticity in Nov. of 2019, and one of their computer experts said it had not been manipulated in any way. That didn’t matter to 51 former intelligence agency leaders who immediately signed a letter stating that the laptop had “all of the classic earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation”. Most news outlets ignored the story until after Biden had been elected. It wasn’t until March of 2022 that the Washington Post and the N.Y. Times admitted the laptop was authentic. (Why do people continue reading garbage produced by these non-news outlets)? A poll conducted by TIPP Insights found that 28% of people following the laptop story would have been “very likely”, and another 25% “somewhat likely”, to change their vote had they known the laptop story was not disinformation. Biden won the election 81 million to 74 million. It seems obvious that the election outcome would have been different if just half of those people had received that information. This was clearly voter manipulation on steroids led by the D.C. ruling elite. It overturned the will of We the People, for the benefit of We the Government.

Those running our government have forgotten where they belong on the USA organization chart. They belong below us. It is time we replace those who refuse to understand that simple fact.
