There was a time, not so long ago, when it was accepted that the USA was clearly an exceptional country. We were at, or near the top, of every important measurement. We had the greatest economy, the most lethal military, and our children were the best educated. We were listed among the freest people in the world and the easiest places to start a business. The USA was a magnet for entrepreneurs and technological advances. Our friends respected us, and our enemies feared us. We had worked very hard and made many painful sacrifices to earn that envious position. Unfortunately, there were/are those, both inside and outside of our country determined to take us down.

The Socialist Leftist (SL) movement in the U.S. can be traced to the 1800s. While very small, the movement continued to grow and underwent numerous name changes. In the early 1900s the Socialist Party of America put forth its first presidential candidate. The SL movement has seen its influence ebb and flow. For a hundred years they remained a relatively obscure group. The “Democratic” Socialists of America elected the largest number of members to Congress in 2020. When they are joined by comrades who vote Socialist but choose to remain anonymous, they have the power to alter, approve, or defeat, legislation. Freedom loving Americans need to be alert to their presence.

Historically the SLs have had success at overthrowing smaller, poorer, nations. They understand that won’t work in the U.S. To vanquish a large, economically successful, country like the USA requires different tactics. Its plan is to be patient and slowly overthrow America from within by employing the death by a thousand cuts strategy. Their plan, supported by a growing number of Democrats, is to gradually overwhelm and diminish our morals, values, and beliefs. Think about it. Over the last 50+ years our country has been shaken to its core. There are 20-30 million people who have entered our country unvetted and uninvited, 10 million +/- in just the last 4 years. All at the expense of the American taxpayer. They’ve decided that, if the American people won’t buy the crap we are selling, we’ll just change the demographic. U.S. citizens have been robbed, assaulted, raped, and murdered, by illegals who are being harbored in sanctuary cities and states. We sadly have a system of abortion on demand. It is estimated that over 65 million babies have been murdered in their mother’s womb since the Roe v Wade ruling came down in 1973. We need to remember our morals and stop this killing. We allow the irreversible mutilation of minor children who are confused as to whether they are boys or girls. That is unbelievably cruel. Dems., including many SLs, sued to keep our children from saying prayers or reciting the pledge of allegiance in school. They prefer introducing our elementary aged children to story hours read by drag queens. The Bible is banned, yet in too many school libraries sexually explicit books are readily available to elementary children. Those of us against allowing males into female locker rooms, and vice versa, are shouted down as homophobic haters.

Many of the protestors of the 1960s and 70s became professors at elite universities. They taught the virtues of equity versus equality. That means what you look like is more important than what you have accomplished. Our children are no longer taught how to think. They are taught what to think. What we are witnessing all over our country is the failure of our education system caused by years of SL and Democrat indoctrination. Their teachings are designed to create workers. They fight against educating citizens.

When I turned on the news last weekend, I thought I was watching scenes from somewhere in the Middle East. People were waving foreign flags and burning American flags. (The irony of people proudly waving the flag of a country they refuse to go back to while protesting in a country they broke into and despise, blows my mind). Bricks and bottles were being hurled at law enforcement officers, and their vehicles were being set on fire. The SL/Dem. Mayor of Los Angeles, fresh off the complete bungling of the LA wildfires, apparently ordered her police officers to stand down. The criminally inept SL/Dem. Governor was completely silent until President Trump sent in thousands of members of the National Guard to do the job the Mayor and Governor seemed incapable of doing. He protected those citizens whose safety the Mayor and Governor were ignoring in order to protect criminal illegals. Immediately, they blamed Trump for the rioting. The timeline of events proves that the riots were well underway before Trump sent in the Guard. But the SL/Dems. have never allowed the truth to get in the way of a good story. It is time for the Federal Government, charged with protecting the safety of AMERICANS, to come down hard on the perpetrators of the riots, and those who fund them. To quote one of my favorite writers, Thomas Sowell, “If you are not prepared to use force to defend civilization, then be prepared to accept barbarism”.

None of what I have written is an accident. The SLs and Democrats have been planning them for decades. Think about it. SLs and Dems have championed bizarre policies. They defend sanctuary cities and states. Ask yourself, who do these policies help? They protect thugs, drug runners, the traffickers of children, and gang bangers. All while risking the safety of American citizens. They are against requiring proper ID to vote and are for allowing illegals to vote. (100% of Dems. voted against a bill that would preclude illegals from voting in local elections in D.C. Imagine that). They are in favor of defunding the police while supporting Black Lives Matter and Antifa. Don’t be fooled. The riots in LA have nothing to do with stopping the deportation of criminal illegals. They are about challenging the will of the American people and the ability of our government to enforce our laws. We must bull our necks and refuse to give in to the SL/Dems. attempts to destroy our beloved country. We can go ahead and blame whoever we want. The truth is, in a Constitutional Republic, the ultimate responsibility to protect the greatest nation on earth is still in the hands of the people.
