The leaders of the Democrat Party had to take a slight detour in their rush to turn the USA into a Socialist country when they ditched President Biden. Because he was such a dependable puppet, they had hoped Uncle Joe could hang on through this year’s election. Just in case they were wrong they agreed to an unprecedented debate in the month of June. It was a de facto job interview. If he answered a couple of questions correctly, they had their man. If he couldn’t, they would still have time to pull off a palace coup and replace him.
Recently, the Party that advertises itself as the defender of Democracy completed a most undemocratic thing. It replaced Joe Biden, a sitting President, who had won the vote of the majority of Democrats in their primary elections. Voters be damned the Party said. We know better than the “little people”. As if to prove the shortness of the Dem. bench the Party replaced a dementia addled man with a woman who could be the poster child for what is known as the Peter Principle. (After 3 and 1/2 years as V.P., it appears her greatest talent was that she was born black). In short, the Peter Principle suggests that organizations promote people into positions which they are not qualified. The Peter Principle is responsible for her assent from law school to her candidacy as the Democrat candidate for President. (Kamala was chosen without receiving a single vote or earning a single delegate. Does that sound like Democracy in action to you)? Many “little people” have seen their lives ruined by the ruthless policies put forth by Kamala and her Progressive friends. More will be hurt as she attempts to climb the political ladder.
Some of my Liberal friends are admitting that Kamala’s coronation has them a bit confused. They do their best deer in the headlight imitation when I ask them to tell me what she has done to earn their vote. Crickets! So far, the most frequent response is, she isn’t Trump. When I ask if they are in favor of an open southern border, they shake their heads no. When I ask if they are in favor of getting rid of fossil fuels and being forced into electric cars, and an all-electric economy, most of them laugh. They know that is impossible. Impossible or not, Kamala and her Progressive friends are prepared to spend trillions of OUR dollars, dollars we don’t have, to achieve an end that we don’t want. Most of my Liberal friends, even many who are pro-choice, think there should be a limit as to how late in a pregnancy a baby could be aborted. Not Kamala. There is an overwhelming consensus that boys should not be allowed to compete in athletic events against girls or share their bathrooms and locker rooms. The Biden/Harris team has changed the language of the Title 9 legislation that gave women an equal playing field with men. The policies of the Party that claims to be pro women have reduced their athletic opportunities. They have removed those places, bathrooms and locker rooms, where girls have traditionally felt safe. Are you in favor of the items listed above? If you vote for Kamala, you are saying yes.
Now, after the Biden/Harris administration’s failed policies have crushed the majority of Americans, Kamala touts her plans to help the middle class beginning day 1 of her administration. What took her so long? She says she will fix the illegal immigration problem. Perhaps her idea of solving the problem would be to throw open the border and welcome all comers. She will fix inflation, and lower prices. Why wait for day 1? The majority of Americans are hurting because of inflation and high prices. Start today. Right now. Prices, overall, are up nearly 20% since Biden/Harris were elected. Individual credit card debt has soared 48% since 2021, and the interest rate on credit card debt is over 20%. Gas prices are up over 40% and utility prices are almost 30% higher since Biden/Harris were elected. None of these increases hurt elite Progressives or their rich donors. They are crippling however, to those in the middle class and below. Those policies have forced too many elderly people on fixed incomes to choose between food and medicine. It is insulting that Kamala is just now deciding any of the above are problems.
The people who locked us down and forced us to take an unproven vaccine in order to keep our jobs are now asking us to help them keep their jobs. I repeat the title of this blog. No intelligent person would rehire the contractor who trashed their home to do the remodel! Let your conscience be your guide. Use your common sense. You know it is crazy to leave those who created the problem in charge of finding the solution.
Thank you for continuing to read my blogs. As always, if you think it has value, I ask you to share it with members of your family and friends. Thank you, Bob
Voting for a candidate because they are:
A specific sex, a specific race, a member of a specific political party, or because they are “anointed” by the power elite who hide in the shadows is wrong.
Voting for the White Guy who is pompous and bombastically narcissistic, and who thinks he has Divine Right is no better.
It’s too bad that both choices are bad.
Issues and policies should be the only qualifying reasons to select a presidential candidate to vote for. We will not get a “do-over”
Looking past Trump’s personality, I see a man who loves America, loves his family, and has a solid credible business and Presidential record to run on. Harris has none of these.
I’ll vote for the guy with experience, confidence, and a proven track record any day and any time.
Faith,
Your comments indicate an unselfish intelligence. Our task is to convince others to do the same. We must love our country more than we hate a man. If we turn our country over to Kamala and her band of socialists our children and grandchildren will never know the freedoms that we have enjoyed. We must not allow that to happen. Bob
Frank,
Your comments are accurate, as far as they go. I don’t care the color or the sex of a candidate any more than I care if the candidate is bombastically narcissistic. This is the first time in my life we have a recent track record to compare. We don’t have to rely on what either candidate says, we can see what they did. When we make that comparison, it should be clear which has the best interest of America, and Americans, in mind. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my writings, Bob
This is so spot on. I pray that people will read this and understand the implications for our future.
Shirley,
Thank you for your comments and for taking the time to read my comments. I am doing everything I can to get it front of as many people as possible. Bob
