Thoughts To Ponder.

What President Trump is doing is deeper than most of us recognize. His ability to multitask is unmatched by any of his predecessors. His ability to work long back to back days gives him an awesome aura to those honest Americans not afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Other than Presidents presiding during global conflicts, or during and immediately after the fight for our country’s independence, nobody entered the White House at a more critical time in our history. Each of his 2 election victories came at times when it appeared we were about to lose those precious values that had made America the envy of the world. Those things that made our nation exceptional were being whittled away by decades of mismanagement by presidents more interested in promoting their ideologies than improving the lives of Americans.

In retrospect it is clear that Trump’s 2020 defeat was a blessing for our country. The loss gave him a break from the rabid Democrat chihuahuas who were constantly nipping at his ankles. Republicans in Congress were reminded how much damage evil, hapless, Democrats could do in just 4 years. That seemed to encourage them to support Trump in his second term, something they were reticent to do in his first term. During those 4 years, the American people were appalled to witness how little Dems. cared about us versus gaining/keeping/power. Perhaps most important, it gave Trump 4 years to assess the strengths and weaknesses of his first term and plan for his second. It allowed him to put a plan in place that would allow him to hit the ground running. And he has hit the ground running!

Think about the negative events of the last few decades. Please don’t be fooled. These events have been well choreographed by the Progressive Left (PL). They understood that destroying our country that is chock a block full of generally happy, prosperous, citizens can take a long time. But they were patient. They continually elected ever more Progressive candidates to Congress and the White House. They supported dissidents of the 1960s and 70s into positions of authority at prestigious Universities. Those dissidents taught more recent K-12 teachers to indoctrinate our children with Critical Race Theory and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) theories. Those philosophies were designed to make our children less patriotic and to hate our country. They fought to remove the Ten Commandments from the public square. They replaced the Bible with pornography and perversion in our public-school libraries. They have slowly taken control of all forms of media and intimidated leaders of academia and corporations to establish DEI departments. Finally, they have worked methodically to redistrict and otherwise change the demographics of America. All of the above were done to increase power for the PL. All the while, American patriots were oblivious to the never-ending march toward socialism.

Then in 2016 Donald Trump put a crimp in their plans. His defeat of Hillary Clinton was the first time he saved our country. One can only shudder at the thought of where we would be if she had been our President for the last 8 years. Trump presented a new dilemma for D.C. politicians. He didn’t care about protocol, and he couldn’t be bought. Nobody in office had been around long enough to remember the last time such a person was in charge. His policies resonated with the majority of Americans. His reelection was all but certain until COVID 19 appeared. Fortunately, Democrats and the press/media convinced enough voters that Trump was at fault leading to his defeat in 2020.

During the next 4 years Dems. threw everything but the kitchen sink at him. They couldn’t afford another 4 years of such a disruptive President. They persecuted and prosecuted and tried to kick him off of multiple state ballots. Everything they tried made his popularity surge. We had had enough. The one thing they never tried was to listen, actually pay attention, to what voters were saying. They are convinced they know more about what is good for us than we do. Then in 2024 he saved our country for the second time when he defeated a totally befuddled V.P., Kamala Harris.

Nobody, politician or otherwise, is better at reading a room than Trump. He listens and understands what the people want. Once he figured out that Dems. would automatically be against anything he supported, he owned them. He immediately took positions popular with the people knowing Dems. would fight him. He was inaugurated just 7 months ago, and our southern border is closed. Males can no longer participate on female athletic teams or enter female locker rooms, in schools. Well over a million illegal aliens have self-deported and hundreds of thousands of criminal illegals have been arrested and deported. He has put reciprocal tariffs on countries who had stolen our good paying jobs and charged us to do so. He has signed an Executive Order mandating that only U.S. citizens be allowed to vote in our elections. At least 2 out of 3 Americans are in favor of all of the above. Dem. leaders vehemently oppose each of them. He has recently taken control of the D.C. police force in an effort to reduce violent crime and clean up the cesspool that is our Capital. We have actually seen elected Dems. say out loud they want to protect the criminals, screw law abiding citizens. Trump is a master manipulator.

Trump has vowed to clean up our elections. He is working to put an end to mail in ballots. (Dems. complain that removing mail in ballots creates a hardship for dead voters. Precisely!) He wants to get rid of voting machines that can easily be manipulated and replace them with paper ballots. Hooray! He has signed an Executive Order mandating that only U.S. citizens be allowed to vote in our elections. This is as close to a no-brainer as there could be, yet Dems. are actually suing to overturn that Order.

Trump is pushing for a special Census before the midterm elections in 2026. He is asking that the Census count only American citizens. What a sane thought. If he is successful, states like California and New York, home to a massive number of illegals, will automatically lose multiple seats in the U.S. House. Add that to the huge number of people who are voting with their feet and leaving blue states, and you can see why Dems. are correctly terrified of losing power.

There is a big fight about Gerrymandering going on right now in Texas. Don’t forget that Dems. have encouraged many million people, whom they believe will vote for Dems., to enter our country illegally. They have sent them all over the country in an effort to change the demographics in some states. It is, without a doubt, the largest incidence of Gerrymandering in the history of our country. There are other obvious examples. In the last election, Trump received 48% of the vote in New Hampshire, 46% in New Mexico and Maine, 42% in Connecticut, Delaware, and Rhode Island, 38% in Hawaii, 36% in Massachusetts, and 32% in Vermont. Those percentages represent millions of Republican votes. Still, Republicans have exactly 0 seats in the U. S. House of Representatives from all of those states, combined. How can that be? Democrats are only opposed to Gerrymandering when it is done by Republicans.

Trump only has three and a half years to fix a decades long movement toward socialism. It is a gargantuan task that will almost certainly need a Republican President to succeed Trump. He has started strong but will need help from us. If Dems. take back either the House or the Senate in 2026, he only has a little more than a year. We MUST get involved in our local elections and do whatever we can to send Republicans to both our state and federal legislatures. It is the least we can do to support the man who has gone above and beyond the call for us.

Thank you for reading my thoughts. Bob

You are so right. We must have control of the House and Senate at the Midterms. Republicans have to show up and vote.

      Barb,
Republicans are not as dependable as Democrats when it comes to voting in the midterm elections. If we give this opportunity away, we will rue the day.
