The government continues to encroach into our daily lives. It seems that with every passing month there are more things that we are told we can, and cannot, do. Things we may, may not purchase. In one way, or another, all of the latest edicts are related to the “Green New Deal”. That is the ultimate vehicle the Progressive Left (PL) intends to use to frighten and impoverish us so as to take control of the American people. With the help of a complicit press/media (PM) they have been engaged in an ever increasing campaign of fear. A campaign that has thus far been relatively successful. Think of it. It has been successful enough to convince countless young Americans to not have children because of their unfounded fear of global warming.

If the PM was doing its duty and reporting government fraud and corruption we would have heard about the “World Climate Declaration”. It is a paper produced by 1,600+ scientists and other informed professionals who are members of the Global Climate Intelligence Group. The group is a self proclaimed independent climate watchdog founded in 2019. Its members include Nobel laureates, theoretical physicists, meteorologists, professors, and environmental scientists worldwide. When asked why they signed a letter, proclaiming that the so-called “climate emergency” is a farce, their collective response was, because it is. This group believes in questioning science. The PL tells us to shut up, that the “climate emergency” is real, and the science is settled. The rebellious experts understand there is no such thing as “settled science”. The term is antithetical to the very meaning of science.

As citizens of this great nation we have a RESPONSIBILITY to push back against the government when it oversteps its Constitutional boundaries. If the government ever tells us again that we must get vaccinated, or wear a mask, in order to go out in public, or to go to work, we must collectively thrust our middle fingers at that government. If the government tells us we are not allowed to worship our God we must tell them to go to hell. If our Pastor, Priest, Rabbi, or Imam, refuse to lead the congregation, he/she must be fired.

It has been fun to watch the evolution of the terminology used by the greenies. The initial term was “global warming”. When that didn’t catch on they changed it to “climate change”, then “climate crisis”. As intelligent people yawned, the term “existential threat” was born, and now it is called a “climate emergency”. The “World Climate Declaration” does a great job of debunking the methodology used by the environmental racketeers. The report proves that many of the findings were influenced by flawed computer modeling. It suggests that ideological biases, and political interests, appear to have influenced reports. Among its final conclusions is that there are too many variables involved, some too difficult to accurately model, to conclude that humans are causing the increase of carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. Indeed, the results questioned if there is a problem at all. It is clear, they suggest, that the remedies put forth by governments don’t even address the perceived problem, if there is one.

For over 40 years climate extremists have been warning of the end of civilization due to global warming. I reckon it all started with cultists who hated big business, big oil, Capitalism, even the USA. Their fear mongering gained strength with the help of the PM, and the PL, looking for an effective way to control the lives of the American people. They have laid blame for every bad thing that happens, climate related or otherwise, at the feet of the so called climate emergency.

Let’s take an objective view of just one of the cultists claims. They claim the number and severity of hurricanes is directly due to the climate emergency. But according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, there are no more hurricanes today than 100 years ago. Hmm. When this fact is brought to their attention the extremists change the narrative to say that hurricanes are more severe today. They measure severity by the increased dollar amount of property damage being done by current storms. Well DUH. There are significantly more homes along the coastlines today than existed even 50 years ago. And those homes are a lot larger, and worth many times the value of those they replaced. Of course the damage in dollars is greater today than ever before. But if you are a fear monger looking to gain power and control you can’t be bothered by facts. Frightening people into submission is your goal. To these people the ends always justify the means.

We must commit to writing letters and making phone calls to our elected representatives. We have to attend town hall meetings and ask the candidate(s) a series of questions. What follows are just a few. 1. Do you support future lockdowns decreed by government? 2. Should boys be allowed in girl’s locker rooms and on girl’s athletic teams and vice versa? If no, will you sponsor legislation precluding them from doing so? 3. Do you support keeping illegal immigrants from entering our country? 4. Are you in favor of shutting down the production of fossil fuels and mandating that Americans purchase Electric Vehicles, 5. Are you in favor of allowing abortions up to the date of birth? If not what limits would you put on them? 6. Do you support the Green New Deal? What are you doing, what would you do, to defeat it? 7. What will you do to reduce the size of government? Our questions and their responses should be tape recorded. We should elect those we believe will do our bidding. Should we find out they lied (experience shows some will) we have a responsibility to replace them. We can only learn that they lied by remaining constantly vigilant and watching what they do.

It will be a long, hard, battle. It must be fought if we are to save this great nation. Our problems will not fix themselves. Those of us who love this country and want our children/grandchildren to enjoy the freedoms that we enjoyed are duty bound to keep our government under control. None of what is happening right now is by accident. Frightened people are easy to control. Poor people, and others in need of government largesse, are also easy to control. The PL Socialists find their groove in scaring and impoverishing citizens. Those who believe in the USA are still in the majority. But of course that means nothing if that majority remains silent while the PL continues to plunder our freedoms.
