Everyone knows that no single political party has the answers to all of our problems. Our system of government, like capitalism, works best when there is competition. I am generally pleased with the results of the last election. But I never imagined the results would culminate in the complete implosion of the Democrat Party. What with the Dems. on the wrong side of every important issue, I shouldn’t have been surprised. I simply wasn’t confident there were enough Americans who were sufficiently awake.

In retrospect, it wasn’t that the American people were doing a good job of reading the tea leaves. It was more like the Dems. kept slapping us in the face with their ridiculous positions. We would have had to be in a coma to vote for Dems. after all of their floundering and terrible decision making. Never in my life have I witnessed the amount of projection put forth by a political party. Never have I seen a candidate removed from the top of a presidential ticket after winning his party’s primary. I can’t remember a time when 1 party was on the short side of every issue that was important to Americans. And by short side, I mean 80-20, or 70-30. If you are consistently the 30, or the 20, you should understand that the problem isn’t the messaging. It’s the message. Thus far the Dems. have not had the vision to recognize their shortcomings as the party’s post-election decisions are absolutely unbelievable.

First, Nancy Pelosi lost her leadership role in the House. Then, a few top party leaders revoked President Biden’s primary win. Voters weren’t duped when our dementia addled President was replaced by our intellectually challenged Vice President. After Past President Obama resorted to insulting the intelligence of black men, the gig was up. Finally, Senator Schumer went from Majority to Minority Leader, and has done nothing but make a mess of it since. The party is now completely leaderless.

The party has been semi-rudderless for a decade. The only message that seemed to resonate with their base was, we aren’t Trump. They did everything imaginable to ruin his first term in office. Everything that is, except to put forth legitimate policies to make life better for Americans. Then they became completely rudderless. They continually put the interests of illegal immigrants ahead of those of the citizenry. They took the side of criminals ahead of victims. They insisted that biological males be allowed into the locker rooms and onto the athletic teams of biological females. All of these positions are dramatically opposed by voting Americans.

Since the election defeat, you’d think the Dems. would get it. Not close. The Governor of Maine has continued to flout Trump’s Executive Order banning biological males from competing with females. This week in Illinois, Middle School administrators tried to force teenage girls to change their clothes in front of a biological male. The public has had enough of these idiotic decisions.

The latest in the who do our children belong to department; in Illinois, a bill is being proposed that will require home schooling parents to register their children with a local public school. Parents could be required to produce the materials they use to teach their children. They may also be required to produce their children’s finished assignments to be graded by public school officials. Remember that in Illinois, only 41% of public school children are reading at grade level and less than 30% are doing math at grade level. In California, at a time when there is a severe shortage of foster homes, a new law will require foster parents to “demonstrate their commitment to support gender-bending surgeries and therapies for minor children” or they will lose their ability to be foster parents. All of the above, and many more I could cite, are supported by Democrats. There is one area that Dems. are head and shoulders better than their Republican rivals. The party’s refusal to rethink its policies displays an impressive level of unmatched willful ignorance. That willful ignorance has led to recent polling numbers showing approval ratings in the 20s! That is the lowest the party has ever polled.

The speed with which Democrats cannibalize members and ex-members of their party is breathtaking. Tulsi Gabbard, a long time Dem. was immediately vilified when she decided to become an Independent. After becoming a Republican, Dems. immediately started calling her a Russian asset, a spy. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a member of the venerable Kennedy family and a lifelong Democrat didn’t leave the party. Still the party claiming to be fighting to save democracy was using every trick in the book to keep him from running in Dem. primaries. When he decided to endorse Trump, vitriolic comments about him spewed daily from the mouths of Dems. Their actions were shameful. Finally, the tragic case of Elon Musk, himself a lifelong Democrat. It was just 4 years ago that Musk was the darling of the Dems. They were touting EVs, and Musk produced the most popular EV in the world. It is almost forgotten now, but in advance of Russia’s invasion, it knocked out Ukraine’s ability to communicate with its soldiers in the field. It is not a stretch to say that Musk saved Ukraine by providing it access to his Starlink communication system. He provided Starlink to the victims of Hurricanes in N. Carolina and to the victims of wildfires in California. Just this week his SpaceX capsule returned 2 stranded American astronauts to earth. In a sane world Musk would be considered a modern day hero for all of the above mentioned feats. Alas, along the way he made what, to the Dems., were unforgivable mistakes. He bought Twitter and stopped following government suggestions to censor conservatives. He endorsed and supported Donald Trump in the election. Now, he is attempting to save American taxpayers a trillion dollars by identifying government waste, fraud, and abuse. He is rewarded with death threats. For reasons we may learn in the near future, this is making Dems. furious.

Rather than to take an honest introspective look at their shortcomings, Dems. are doubling down on their unpopular policies. They are resorting to shameful actions. While, for 4 years, President Biden was flying illegal aliens INTO our country, not a single judge had a problem. Now that Trump is flying criminal illegals OUT of our country a judge is trying to stop him. It is shameful that this judge said turn that plane around and bring those murderers, rapists, and thugs back here. Multiple Governors and Mayors are refusing to help federal law enforcers locate and deport criminals. Democrats are rewarding Musk for his attempts to save our country by vandalizing Tesla dealerships and setting Tesla vehicles on fire. They are literally destroying the vehicles they were touting would save the planet. You can’t make this stuff up. They fully believe that minor children should be allowed to make life-altering decisions involving the mutilation of their bodies. They think parents should fall in line behind the government in deciding what is good for our children. I could go on.

If Democrats hope to have an influence in the future of this great nation, they must stop mollycoddling the anti-American, progressive socialists, in their party. As long as they stay, or keep moving farther to the Left, they have no hope of winning important elections in the future. They must stop treating their constituents like morons and listen to their concerns. After all, their actions have proven they are not as smart as the voters.
