As we are now 24 hours away from the most consequential election in our lives, we must remember a couple of important things. Tomorrow is not a personality contest. We are not electing a class President, or the President of the Glee Club. We are electing the leader of the free world. The person charged with directing the largest economy, and most lethal military in the world. When you enter the voting booth tomorrow, your decision should be based on policies, not on personalities.

Yes, Donald Trump can be a jerk. He is prone to making regrettable comments. And yes, at times he can be a bully. Spoiler alert. For those of you who wish the world was all rainbows and lollipops, IT ISN’T! Our adversaries are led by brutal dictators. People who have murdered and imprisoned their own citizens. People who would do the same to us if given half a chance. As evidenced by the 2 wars started since Trump left office, appeasement is not the answer. We have seen that a Pee Wee Herman like candidate does not deter the bad guys. I want a bully to represent the interests of Americans at this crucial time in history.

For those of you who simply can’t vote for Trump, even if the future of your country and your children and grandchildren hang in the balance, save yourself 10 minutes and leave this post right now. (I would hope the least you could do is to avoid voting for the socialists who intend to “fundamentally transform the United States of America”). I will discuss how issues that are important to the American people have changed for the worse over the last 4 years.

One of the most important issues that will linger for a very long time is illegal immigration. We have witnessed close to 4 times as many illegal aliens crossing our border under Biden/Harris than we saw when Trump was President. Harris was assigned the task of finding the core cause of immigration and stemming the flow of illegals into our country. To say she failed miserably is an understatement. As it stands now, the American people are on the hook for hundreds of billions of dollars a year to feed, clothe, educate, house, and provide health care for those illegals. Why is there a shortage of housing and why have houses become so expensive in the U.S.? When there is an increase of 10 to 20 million additional people to house, the law of supply and demand kicks in. Up go prices. Up goes inflation. Along with the invasion of illegals, we have witnessed hundreds of thousands of opioid overdoses. Murders, rapes, assaults, and general lawlessness have accompanied many of the illegals. It is simply unconscionable that the Biden/Harris administration has ‘lost’ 325,000 innocent minor children who crossed our border unattended. Harris has given us little reason to believe that would change if she were elected.

It has become increasingly difficult for tens of millions of Americans to pay their bills. Gasoline prices have increased 40%, food prices are up nearly 30%, auto insurance is up 50%+, and utility prices are up 30%+. These are necessities. Mortgage interest rates have more than doubled. Personal credit card debt is at an all-time high with interest on that debt well over 20%. Countless citizens on fixed income are being forced to choose between decreasing their meds, or the quantity or quality of their food. Harris says there is nothing she can think of that she would have done different.

We are currently funding 2 wars, to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. When Trump left office, the world was at peace. In fact, just before he left office his administration was responsible for completing the Abraham Accords. It was an unexpected, unprecedented, Treaty that brought together 3 traditional enemies. Since Pee Wee and his minion took office the Middle East has exploded in turmoil.

Harris is against fracking and all other forms of fossil fuels. We are blessed with the world’s largest deposits of oil, gas, and coal. She would prefer that we buy solar panels and EV batteries produced mostly by China than to exploit the energy we have under our feet. While we are shuttering fossil fuel production, China and India are building approximately 1 new, low cost, coal fired power plant a WEEK! The Progressive Left’s strict energy policies force us to close low cost electricity sources. That makes it more difficult for domestic manufacturers to compete globally. It follows that more jobs will go overseas.

How could a girl’s parent or grandparent vote for the candidate who believes that biological boys/men have a RIGHT to use the locker rooms and bathrooms designated for girls/women? How could they vote for the candidate who would put their daughters/granddaughter’s safety at risk by allowing males to compete against females on athletic teams? I can’t imagine there are many/any parents who disagree that our most important responsibility is the safety of our children. Kamala Harris has opted to put the safety of our female children at risk. Are you really okay with that?

Harris says she will not raise taxes on those earning less than $400,000 and will allow the Trump tax cuts to expire. Both of those statements can’t be true. This is where we must put on our politician’s B.S. detector hats. If she allows the Trump tax cuts to expire, every taxpayer, regardless of income, will see their taxes go up. She will be able to look in the camera and say, I didn’t raise your taxes. Technically, she will be telling the truth. That won’t matter to working Americans who get hit with higher taxes. Who does she think she is fooling? She says she will raise taxes on corporations. A tax on corporations is an indirect tax on customers. We will pay that tax through the higher prices corporations charge for their products. Don’t let her fool you.

She has said she is in favor of a “government mandated” buyback of our guns. “Government mandated” is a euphemism for confiscation. Again, don’t be fooled. She says she will take away your health insurance and give you government run health insurance. She will give that same health care to illegals. She will provide government funded sex change operations for convicts and illegals. She will allow minors to undergo mutilating sex change operations. Does any of that sound good to you?

She is the presidential candidate of one of the two major parties in the U.S. She hasn’t won a single delegate. She hasn’t received a single vote. Yet here she is, the least qualified candidate to run for President in my lifetime. She refuses to give answers to the most basic questions. Yesterday, she was asked how she voted on Prop 36, a bill to toughen penalties on criminals in California. It is the current bill that would reverse Prop 47 that Harris helped write back in 2014. Prop 47 allows thieves to steal up to $950 of retail merchandise without being prosecuted as a felon. When asked how she voted, she wouldn’t answer. She said that this close to the election she didn’t want to create an endorsement one way or the other. Huh? The candidate advertising herself as tough on crime, would have relished the opportunity to answer that question. That is, if she truly is tough on crime. She isn’t.

What has she said about reversing our staggering national debt? Nothing. Instead, she has promised new handouts that will add trillions to that debt. Trump has promised to create the Government Efficiency Commission. It will be charged with rooting out unnecessary government waste and spending. Elon Musk has agreed to head up this Commission. They are 2 patriotic billionaires who are not beholden to anyone. The national debt is the largest long-term problem facing our nation. Trump is the only candidate offering a plan to begin to get it under control.

What would she do different than Biden? She said she can’t think of a single thing. So basically, if we reelect her, we should expect a repeat of the last 4 years. Believe me when I tell you, there are millions of Americans who may not be able to survive, financially, another 4 years like the last 4. I accept that some people can’t vote for Trump. What I struggle to accept is that a patriotic American would knowingly vote for a Socialist candidate who would put the American Dream out of reach for their children and grandchildren. A candidate who would relegate freedom to the pages of history books. I hope that the majority of Americans recognize it is time for us to get rid of the failures, not recycle them.

To vote for them you must go to the partisan section of the ballot and find the Michigan Supreme Court candidates. Then fill in the circles next to their names. Thanks to Whitmer, Benson, and Nessel, Michigan is a mess. Sending 2 conservative Justices to our Supreme Court would be a great way to start cleaning it up. Vote for Fink and O’Grady for the Michigan Supreme Court.
