Hate is a terrible, debilitating, thing. It can start innocently enough. Someone is wronged, or something happens that hurts us or someone we love. When immediate relief is not available it is not uncommon for us to lash out in disdain, even anger. Left unchecked and allowed to fester it can cause otherwise reasonable people to become completely irrational. When the wrong is perpetrated by political opponents and supported by the deceitful press\/media it can blind people to the evil doings going on right in front of their eyes. Enter Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What is TDS? According to the Urban Dictionary, “TDS is a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their dislike of Donald Trump, to the point at which they will abandon all logic and reason.” One needn’t be intellectually deficient to be susceptible to TDS. Before the 2016 election, professors at elite universities were warning that a Trump victory could spell the end of our democracy. (That should have been a tipoff of their intellectual acuity. The form of government we live under is NOT a democracy). Paul Krugman, the New York Times economist, warned that the stock market would collapse if Trump were to be elected. I am familiar with the writings of Krugman going back many decades. Let’s just say the quickest way to financial riches is to do exactly the opposite of what this politicized economist suggests. (Had you followed his advice and sold all of your stocks when Trump was elected, you would have missed one of the greatest bull markets in U.S. history).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Immediately following Trump’s election the Democrats in Congress, and numerous “never Trumpers”, started impeachment proceedings against him. Two years, and tens of millions of tax payer dollars later, a group of 16 or 17 democrat attorneys led by Robert Mueller were not able to find prosecutable evidence against him. Their terminal TDS caused them to impeach him anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Biden proved he is afflicted with the disease. He has systematically undone every policy that Trump put in place. It didn’t matter that the policy was successful. He didn’t care that we were energy self-sufficient, or the border was secure. Whether the policy helped the American people was irrelevant. The only consideration given was if the policy was Trumps, it had to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That brings me to today. The Democrats are again leaving no stone unturned as they try to convict Trump of insurrection. Fanned by the press\/media they warn us that our very democracy (there’s that word again) is being threatened by Trump’s January 6, 2021 actions. The fact that the 1\/6 committee is wrapping up its meetings, and finally subpoenaing Trump, less than a month before midterms is fishy to those who aren’t suffering from TDS. Unfortunately those with the disease couldn’t detect a skunk if their nose was half way up its rear end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fear of “losing our democracy” is the feeble excuse many, including some of my friends, use for spending 100% of their time cursing our last President. They are intent on ensuring that Trump can never again hold a public office. Their fear of Trump is that enormous. While they are busying themselves with such nonsense they ignore the actual attacks on our freedom being carried out by our current President and his minions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The real scandal surrounding 1\/6 is the fact that there are numerous American citizens sitting in jail in D.C. Many have been incarcerated, some in solitary confinement, for approaching two years without having their day in court. The 6th Amendment to the Constitution guarantees a criminal defendant the right to a speedy trial by an impartial jury. It is too late for them to receive a speedy trial. What do you suppose the chances are for a fair trial in a city where the jury pool votes 90%+ for Democrats in every election? Just one more thing about the 1\/6 commission. I hope nobody ever has to face the “justice” being meted out by Democrats. Think about how ridiculous it is to begin to claim the hearing is fair. Can you imagine being brought up on criminal charges then finding out that the prosecutor would be selecting all of the jurors. It is a joke. Everyone, other than those suffering from TDS, knows it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When in America, before the Biden administration took office, did citizens face armed FBI officers arresting them at their home for praying outside abortion clinics? For the second time in recent weeks, in front of their families, fathers were arrested by multiple heavily armed FBI agents. Neither of these men had previous records and neither was a threat to law enforcement agents. Neither man was charged by local authorities when the original incident occurred. There can be no reason for this kind of heavy handed practice other than to send a message and frighten people who disagree with the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who could have imagined that the Attorney General of the U.S. would order his FBI agents to surveil parents who dared to speak out at school board meetings? For my entire life teachers said their #1 wish was that parents would be more involved in their children’s education. Now that we are getting more involved we are called domestic terrorists and threatened by the Dept of Justice. Only TDSers believe Trump’s tweets are a bigger threat to our freedom. It is an illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We watched as our government fired nurses during the peak of the COVID pandemic. In the face of historic rises in crime our government fired law enforcement officers. The government required proof of vaccination to enter restaurants, sport venues, and other locations. Places of worship were closed even as casinos, strip joints, liquor stores, and lottery outlets, were allowed to remain open. With a war going on in Europe and unrest brewing nearly everywhere else, our government is risking our national security by firing members of our military. All of the above happened because they refused to be vaccinated. What has happened to our freedom of choice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our government shut down small businesses. That bankrupted untold numbers of Americans. Our government arrested and jailed those people who decided they had a right to gainful employment. Our schools were forced to close for nearly 2 years. We may never know the total damage done to our children by these heavy handed government officials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is accurate to call BS on the weak kneed “never Trumpers” when they tell you they are voting for the people who are responsible for the anti-democratic things mentioned above to save our democracy. When those infected with TDS say that Trump, and domestic terrorists, are the greatest threat to America, it is absolutely correct to laugh in their faces. The biggest threat to the greatest nation on earth are the socialists who are working overtime to take away as many of our freedoms as possible. It is Biden and his cronies who are systematically forcing more of us under the control of the government. I feel sorry for those who are so blinded by their hatred for Trump that they can’t see that socialists and their friendly press\/media are trying to fundamentally change our country. They are literally trading our future freedom to get even with Trump. That is not a good trade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
