Like most Americans I spent the Memorial Day weekend with family, and watching multiple programs highlighting the heroism of our fallen warriors. It is important to remember the difference in Veterans Day and Memorial Day. The heroes we commemorate on Veterans Day came home from war. Many are still with us and they continue to have a voice in the affairs of our country. Memorial Day is the day we commemorate those who paid the ultimate price in service to their\/our country. They made their voices heard by fighting to defend our freedom against those who would take that freedom away. Their voices were silenced on the battlefield. It is now up to those of us who believe in the importance of freedom, and liberty, to continue the mission they began. I wonder if our fallen heroes would made the ultimate sacrifice had they known how little we are willing to do to keep it today? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The enemy facing America today is the same as it was in WWI and all of the wars since, except for a couple of things. Our soldiers faced bullets, tanks, airplanes, and bombs from socialists, communists, and fascists. Now we cower when socialists, communists, and fascists call us names. The socialists, communists, and fascists are harder to identify as they are no longer dressed in military uniforms. Today, those wishing to “fundamentally change” the greatest nation on earth are wearing suits. They are increasingly the leaders of government, education, and corporations. All three groups are working in tandem to convert Americans citizens into subjects of the state. The effort to achieve that end is underway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Citizens signed up and became soldiers, or answered the draft, for previous conflicts because they believed they had a responsibility to protect America and its borders. They risked their lives because they understood the importance of maintaining the sovereignty of our free nation. The socialists in suits are allowing hundreds of thousands of undocumented people to cross our southern border every month. We know that some of them are documented terrorists set on killing as many Americans as they can. The suits seem to be okay with that. We have no way of knowing if any of them have been vaccinated against COVID, or measles, or small pox, or any other disease. We do know that most of them are destitute and illiterate. We know they will become wards of the state. That’s a nice way of saying taxpayers will be responsible for feeding, clothing, housing, educating, and providing health care for them. One needn’t be an econ major to understand that makes all taxpaying Americans poorer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our warfighters were single-minded in their intent to kill every enemy intent on doing harm to America. Last year over 107, 000 American citizens died from drug overdoses. Nearly all of those drugs came to the U.S. through our southern border. Untold billions of dollars in profits go to the cartels who control the border, and the Chinese who produce Fentanyl. The communist sympathizers in suits who are in charge of our government have done exactly nothing to quell this invasion. I wonder how many more Americans will die of drug overdoses before the suits take action? I wonder if the American people will ever grow the cajones to demand the suits take action? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is impossible to tell the difference in a socialist and a capitalist by appearance alone. It takes a serious effort and a lot of diligence to recognize the difference. It is important that we listen to what the suits say. It is even more important to watch what they do. President Biden says he is a capitalist. The policies he has instituted are without a doubt socialistic. We used to maintain a military presence in the Middle East to ensure the flow of enough oil to keep the price of American gasoline relatively inexpensive. Now the socialist suits have shut down production, and canceled oil delivery systems. That has driven up gas prices to the point where they have become nearly out of reach for a lot of Americans. Higher oil prices affect the price of almost everything that consumers buy. We have witnessed inflation at what the government says is a rate of 8%. But people who buy gasoline, food, and other consumer products, know that number the reported rate of inflation is a joke. Socialists strive to make as many people as possible dependent on the government. Biden’s policies are indeed creating more dependency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I thank God for the patriots who stood up to establish, and then defend, the greatest nation on earth. I think we should be thankful for our fallen heroes, and our veterans, every day of the year. But I can’t help but wonder if so many of them would have willingly given up their lives if they knew how cavalierly we Americans who followed them would be about protecting our freedom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
