If you trust the media, go ahead and believe the polls. The media, and too many pollsters, are in the pocket of the Democrat Party. They will do anything to sway their opponents, even discourage them from voting. If you love your country, you should ignore their nonsense and do everything in your power to prove both of them wrong! The sad truth is that all it takes to preserve freedom for future generations of Americans is to make sure we vote. Is that asking too much? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
History shows that Democrats routinely show up to vote in every election, including mid-terms. Kudos to them. But there are a couple of voting blocs that I find totally befuddling at mid-term election time. The first are Republicans. They are probably just as patriotic as Dems. Yet, where mid-term elections are concerned, they have an unbroken record of tens of millions of no-shows. They seem content to allow Dems. to take control of their country. An unwillingness to support this President and Republican members of Congress is difficult to comprehend. Do they not recall what happened to this great nation the last time Dems. were in charge? Come on, it was only 2 years ago! From 2020-24, President Biden and the Dems. invited multiple millions of unvetted, unvaccinated, illegal aliens into our country at the same time they were forcing U.S. citizens to get vaccinated and to stay sequestered in our homes. Tell me, what is more idiotic, or dangerous, than welcoming millions of welfare dependent people, some of whom want to kill us, into our country? Do you think they will keep the borders closed if we stay home and let them take power? Perhaps we won’t need the police they promise to defund to apprehend the criminals they want to release from our prisons. A huge majority of Dems. in the House of Representatives voted against deporting illegals convicted of sexual assault against children! I’m sorry, but that’s insane. Dems. voted to allow males to participate on female high school athletic teams and to use locker rooms designated for females. They voted to allow the sexual mutilation of confused minors in the name of gender care. They insist American taxpayers should foot the bill for the sex change operations of convicted criminals, both citizens and illegals. Maybe they didn’t mean it. Dems. are campaigning on a platform that they will make the USA more affordable. Give me a break. That promise requires a huge set of caj\u00f3nes. Please, just think for yourself. Inflation AVERAGED over 5% for the 4 years of the Biden administration. That is more than twice the rate under Trump. That was just practice, perhaps next time they will do better. The nine states listed as having the highest cost of living are run by Dems. They are Hawaii, California, New York, Massachusetts, Alaska, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, and Washington. Ask yourself this legitimate question: Do you really want our country managed by the people who run, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and D.C.? These are all failed or failing cities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second voting bloc I simply do not understand are Christians. It is estimated that slightly more than half (56%) of Christians in the U.S. vote. (For comparison, over 80% of Muslims vote). That is more than embarrassing. It is appalling. Again, a lack of memory seems to have hit this group en masse. (Dear God, please let it be a lapse of memory). Our Constitution offers several protections for Americans and how they practice their faith. Who does this group expect to defend those guarantees, if not themselves? During COVID the Biden administration shuttered all places of worship for many, many, months, while liquor stores, lottery outlets, and gambling casinos were allowed to remain open. At a time when Christians needed prayer, spiritual guidance, and to congregate more than ever, Dems. arrested anyone who tried to gather in their places of worship. In an effort to preserve the right to worship as they choose, Christians should be going to the polls in record numbers to vote for Republicans. That nearly half of them are praying, yet not voting is perplexing. We can pray until the cows come home, but eventually, we must lock arms in solidarity and fight for what we believe. Remember that David ultimately had to pick up a stone and act against Goliath. Perhaps, the next time Dems. are in power, they won’t punish Christians. I wouldn’t bet the future practice of my faith on it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You say you don’t like Donald Trump. I get it. He has said and done some rather cringeworthy things during his political career. Please, put on your big boy\/girl pants and remember we aren’t voting for the leader of the National Honor Society. We are not even voting for Trump. We are voting to sustain multiple Trump policies that have proven to be successful for the American people. I understand that gas prices are too high. On most corners in our cities there are neon signs that remind us. Because gas prices are hurting Republican candidates, the media reports those prices every day. It is short sighted to allow something as temporary as gas prices to become the main focus of a campaign. As we make our decisions for whom to vote for next month, let’s focus on a few things that will impact our lives, and the future of our children and grandchildren, far into the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Trump gave up a truly cushy lifestyle to run for office. Before he ran for office, he was generally liked by those people vilifying him today. Since he announced his candidacy in 2015, Donald Trump and his family have been mercilessly attacked. He has been impeached, harassed, arrested, indicted, prosecuted, and nearly assassinated. Like him or not, I think he is correct when he says they aren’t coming for him, they are coming for you (us). In his nearly 6 years in office Trump has produced an awesome list of accomplishments for the American people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What follows are just a smattering of those achievements. In his first term, gas prices were around $2.00 a gallon and America was virtually energy self-sufficient. We were no longer at the mercy of people chanting “Death to America” for our gas and oil. Inflation was hovering around 1% until the breakout of COVID. For the first time in a generation, middle class wages were growing faster than inflation. He shepherded through Congress the largest middle class tax cuts in U.S. history. He, along with South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, created Minority Business Development Agencies in many poor black communities. They did so using zero government dollars. He publicly embarrassed the leaders of NATO until they began living up to their obligations to fund their own defense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In just the first 2 years of his second term, Trump has been even busier. He has reversed all of Biden’s dangerous energy starving policies. Policies that forced us to import ever larger amounts of oil and caused utility prices to soar. We are once again energy self-sufficient. He signed an Executive Order (EO) keeping males out of locker rooms designated for females, and off of female athletic teams. That EO has led to 27 states passing laws protecting our girls. (All but 2 House Dems. voted against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act). Republicans voted to make tips for service employees tax free, social security benefits for seniors tax free, and overtime for hourly wage earners tax free. (Democrats were in favor during the 2024 campaign but voted unanimously against it when it was proposed by Trump). His policies are responsible for the deportation, voluntary or otherwise, of millions of people who entered our country illegally. Many of them were among the worst monsters in the world. The last 4 Presidents gave lip service to denying Iran a nuclear capability. Trump is doing it. That is the major reason we are paying higher gas prices today. Denying Iran a nuclear bomb may well save the lives of countless Americans, and others in the future. Crime in the U.S. is at historic lows. Foreign leaders have committed trillions of dollars to build new manufacturing plants all over our country. Those buildings are being built and when completed countless Americans will be earning good wages working in them. Right now, today, there are more Americans working than at any time in our country’s history. And honestly. Like him or not. Do you really think the tens\/hundreds of billions of dollars of waste, fraud, and corruption being uncovered right now would have been found if a socialist were in the White House? Every item listed above, and many others I could mention, are the direct result of Donald Trump’s policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It appears to me that Trump’s biggest failing is that he kept his campaign promises. That makes him the first President in my life to do so. After all that our President has done to staunch the growth of Progressives and Democratic Socialists in the USA, it seems like the least we could do is to get off of our couches and support his policies on November 3rd, or before. I believe it is our patriotic duty. Gas prices are temporary. The horror that is socialism is usually permanent. It is easy to be a socialist\/communist living in a free country. History has proven that freedom cannot survive in a socialist\/communist country. President Ronald Reagan was once quoted as saying: “Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don’t need it, and hell where they already have it.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can probably tell by the serious nature of this post how important I think next month’s election is. If Dems. take over the House and the Senate, Trump becomes a lame duck President for the last 2 years of his presidency. His policies will not be completed, and we Americans will suffer the consequences. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. Please tell your friends about this post.
