I\u2019ve never met Joe Biden but he seems like a really nice guy.  He goes from one group to another saying whatever they want him to say.  He tells people dependent on fracking for their livelihood that he will not get rid of it.  Then he speaks to environmentalists and promises to put an end to it.  If I was voting for my senior class president I would vote for Joe.  The importance of this election demands that voters pay serious attention to what the candidates will do to change America.  One candidate believes in the ability of the American people to make their own life decisions.  (Trump)  The other believes that government is better equipped to make our decisions for us.  (Biden)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who have yet to vote I present the following thoughts for your consideration.\u00a0 The most important reason I will not vote for Joe is that I don\u2019t believe I would actually be voting for Joe.\u00a0 If elected I don\u2019t believe Biden will be in office a year.\u00a0 The fix is already in.\u00a0 Everybody on the far Left, perhaps Biden himself, knows it.\u00a0 When Nancy Pelosi brought up the idea of creating a 25th<\/sup> Amendment commission the Right went ballistic.\u00a0 (The 25th<\/sup> Amendment describes the procedure under which a sitting President can be removed from office due to disability).\u00a0 He hasn\u2019t been reelected and she is already attempting to get rid of Trump they bellowed.\u00a0 But Pelosi, in one of her rare candid moments, said it had nothing to do with Trump.\u00a0 She believes the polls and thinks that Biden will be the next president.\u00a0 Pelosi is laying the groundwork to remove Uncle Joe.\u00a0 If I am correct those considering a vote for Biden would be well advised to spend some time researching Kamala Harris.\u00a0 If you believe that a socialist, bordering on communist, is what America needs then vote for Joe.\u00a0 That is what we will be getting when Harris replaces him.\u00a0 Joe didn\u2019t pick Harris as his running mate.\u00a0 Think about it.\u00a0 In the primaries Harris called Biden a racist.\u00a0 She also said she believed the woman who accused Biden of sexually assaulting her had told the truth.\u00a0 She was at the bottom of the democratic primary polls, and was one of the first to drop out of the race.\u00a0 The American people don\u2019t like Harris.\u00a0 The polls showed that most Democrats don\u2019t like Harris.\u00a0 None of that matters.\u00a0 What matters is that the democrat elites like Harris.\u00a0 If Biden gets elected I believe she will become the first female President of the United States within one year.\u00a0 And I don’t want to even contemplate who she might name as her VP. Given my theory I will call this the Harris\/Biden ticket.\u00a0 They both called it that inadvertently(?) in a couple of their speeches.\u00a0 God help us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We should take a look at what our country will look like should the democrats maintain the majority in the House, win the majority in the Senate, and elect Harris\/Biden.  Patriotic, tax paying, Americans would wake up to a country that they barely recognize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. I list this one first because it is the hardest for me to understand.\u00a0 Democrats have chosen to defend the killing of over 600,000 babies per year through abortion their number one cause.\u00a0 It is estimated that as many as 61 million babies have been killed since the Roe v Wade decision in 1973.\u00a0 The CDC says that abortion is the number one cause of death in the U.S.\u00a0 When the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision was passed down we were told that abortions would be performed rarely, and only when necessary.\u00a0 That is not true.\u00a0 Today women have the right to an abortion any time, for any reason, right up to the moment of birth.\u00a0 In New York it goes beyond the moment of birth.\u00a0 In 2019 Governor Cuomo signed into law a bill that revokes care for babies that are born alive after a botched abortion!\u00a0 How could any human take the live-born child of a botched abortion to a room somewhere and allow them to scream until they die?\u00a0 This has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with who we are as people.\u00a0 A bill was introduced in the Senate earlier this year that would require medical personnel to, among other things, provide the same care for these babies as is provided for other babies.\u00a0 The Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act was blocked from coming to a full vote by 41 democratic Senators.\u00a0 They said the bill would infringe on a woman\u2019s right to abortion.\u00a0 Kamala Harris was one of those Senators who voted against the bill.\u00a0 I am not smart enough to understand how people who protest against the death penalty for convicted mass murderers can stand idly by and allow innocent babies to be killed.<\/li>
  2. Our 1st<\/sup> Amendment right to \u201cfree speech\u201d would continue to be curtailed.\u00a0 It is already under attack on college campuses.\u00a0 Professors who refuse to use an incorrect pronoun when addressing a student are being replaced.\u00a0 Speakers representing positions right of center are not being allowed to speak on many campuses.\u00a0 Those professors who refuse to reward subpar work presented by minority students are being accused of being racists by students, and reprimanded by administrators.\u00a0 Too many people have lost their livelihoods for saying something that someone deems to be \u201chate speech.\u201d\u00a0 We must pick our words carefully so that we don\u2019t utter some awful \u201cmicro aggression.\u201d\u00a0 If we were to say something terrible like, I think the job should go to the most qualified candidate, we could be in trouble.\u00a0 If that utterance was heard by the wrong person, probably not the most qualified candidate, we could be called into HR and sent to sensitivity training.\u00a0 God forbid.\u00a0 Oops that\u2019s another micro aggression.\u00a0<\/li>
  3. Our 2nd<\/sup> Amendment right to \u201ckeep and bear arms\u201d will be under full frontal attack.\u00a0 Biden and Harris have both said they will take guns away from law abiding citizens.\u00a0 Their answer to gun violence in the U.S. is to take guns away from people who have never committed a crime using their guns.\u00a0 Law abiding citizens should never lose the ability to defend themselves against those who would do us harm.\u00a0 If we lose that right you can bet more law abiding citizens will be harmed by criminals who will always have guns.<\/li>
  4. Our borders would be open to anyone who wishes to enter.\u00a0 The Left says that borders are immoral.\u00a0 They claim that people can\u2019t be illegal.\u00a0\u00a0 Democrats have repeatedly called for the abolishment of U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).\u00a0 These are law enforcement officers who risk their lives trying to keep criminal felons off our streets.\u00a0 It is difficult to find the motivation why elected representatives, paid by taxpayers, would put the safety of illegal felons ahead of their citizens.\u00a0 Think of what will happen if borders are more porous.\u00a0 Both Harris and Biden favor opening our borders.\u00a0 They favor citizenship for illegal immigrants and allowing them to vote in local elections.\u00a0 There are a few U.S. cities that allow illegal immigrants to vote locally now.<\/li>
  5. The Harris\/Biden ticket is on record as supporting the de-funding of our police departments.\u00a0 We have watched rioting, looting, and arson, in the streets of many of our larger cities for months.\u00a0 I\u2019d bet that most Americans sitting around their dinner tables aren\u2019t thinking that the answer to this thuggish behavior is to reduce the number of people we hire to protect us.\u00a0 In fact almost nobody, other than democratic elites, wants to reduce police presence in their communities.\u00a0 Polls have shown that nearly two thirds of black people want more police, not less.\u00a0 What the people want doesn\u2019t matter to democrats because the government knows what we need better than we do.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The democrat leaders in these cities, and the democrat party intellectuals, suggest that we treat these anarchists as if they are children throwing a tantrum.\u00a0 Leave them to their mayhem and they will eventually get tired and stop.\u00a0 They don\u2019t seem to understand the difference in a 3 year old kicking and screaming, and adults ruining entire sections of their cities.\u00a0 To be fair the ticket has changed its tone so as to appease the feeble minded.\u00a0 They say they want to \u201cre-imagine\u201d policing.\u00a0 They say they do not want to de-fund police departments.\u00a0 What they want to do is to reduce funds from police department budgets.\u00a0 It is truly insulting how stupid these people think we are.\u00a0<\/li>
  6. Harris\/Biden says they believe in science.\u00a0 And they follow it, until science disagrees with their policies.\u00a0 Both of these candidates, and most of their democratic colleagues, believe boys should be allowed to compete on girls athletic teams and vice versa.\u00a0 They also believe that girl\u2019s locker\/shower rooms should be open to boys and vice versa.\u00a0 Science is pretty clear as to whether we are male or female.\u00a0 Biology says we are either XX or XY.\u00a0 In this case Harris\/Biden believes that science is wrong.\u00a0 They say that gender is not decided until each individual picks the gender of his\/her choice.\u00a0 Title IX was part of a general educational bill in 1972.\u00a0 It was long overdue and basically leveled the athletic playing field for girls.\u00a0 It said that every school receiving federal funding must provide equal opportunities in sports for boys and girls.\u00a0 It was cheered by most fair-minded people.\u00a0 It was successful for a long time.\u00a0 Then the democrats tell us our thinking is outdated.\u00a0 They tell us that gender is fluid and that there are multiple genders a person can choose.\u00a0 In the California State University system there are at least 6 options listed on applications.\u00a0 They say that boys who \u201cidentify\u201d as girls should be allowed to compete on girl\u2019s athletic teams.\u00a0 When boys started trying out for girl\u2019s teams the cowardly leaders of state athletic associations gave the O.K.\u00a0 They were afraid of negative publicity and law suits.\u00a0 Now in Connecticut the top sprinters at the girl\u2019s state track meets are boys.\u00a0 They are winning multiple events every year and erasing the existing state records established by girls.\u00a0 They are reducing the opportunity for girls to win college scholarships. Intellectuals are busy creating \u201csafe spaces\u201d at colleges for immature young adults.\u00a0 At the same time they are taking away boy\u2019s\/girl\u2019s dressing rooms that have historically been safe spaces for teens and preteens in their local schools.\u00a0 As they are being forced to allow boys on their athletic teams girls are losing the level playing field they fought so hard to achieve almost 50 years ago.\u00a0 Where are the feminists?<\/li>
  7. Neither Harris or Biden think the American people deserve to know where they stand on packing the Supreme Court.\u00a0 Court packing is a scurrilous ploy that was attempted back in the 1930s by FDR.\u00a0 When he was rebuked by politicians on both sides of the aisle he grudgingly gave up the idea.\u00a0 That was when there was a modicum of civility in politics.\u00a0 There isn\u2019t even the pretense of civility today.\u00a0 The Supreme Court, even with its shortcomings, is still looked up to by most Americans.\u00a0 That will be erased if the democrats add the number of Justices necessary to allow them to do whatever they want.\u00a0 Biden initially said he would tell us his plans AFTER the election.\u00a0 Then he said he would tell us before the American people vote.\u00a0 Well Mr. VP as of this writing over 25 million Americans have voted.\u00a0 If neither of the democrats on the presidential ticket will answer the question you\u2019d better believe they will do it.\u00a0 There are those who think the Amy Coney Barrett nomination is awful.\u00a0 I ask them just one question.\u00a0 What would the democrats do if the situation was reversed?<\/li>
  8. We watched as presidents and members of Congress sold out the American middle class for campaign contributions.\u00a0 They signed trade bills that opened our borders to foreign products while getting nothing in return.\u00a0 Millions of good paying manufacturing jobs were sent overseas and to Mexico.\u00a0 Tens of thousands of manufacturing plants were shuttered.\u00a0 Some of us are old enough to remember when Ross Perot, when referring to NAFTA, warned that the \u201cgiant sucking sound\u201d Americans would be hearing was jobs and factories moving south.\u00a0 President Obama said that these jobs were not coming back.\u00a0 He would have been more correct had he said that as long as democrats are in charge the jobs aren\u2019t coming back.\u00a0 Under Trump\u2019s \u201cAmerica First\u201d programs we have seen a lot of companies come back.\u00a0 Given the lower tax rates created by Trump many other companies built here for the first time.\u00a0 As a businessman Trump understands the workings of an economy because he has actually hired people and signed paychecks.\u00a0 Biden has done neither.\u00a0 He only knows how the economy works, theoretically.\u00a0 I want to make one last example of the insanity our elected representatives have exhibited for a very long time.\u00a0 Thanks to unimaginably stupid trade deals Americans found that the antibiotics many of us need to survive are made or sourced through China.\u00a0 As much as 96% of our antibiotics come through China.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t that shocking?\u00a0 It would be incredibly irresponsible for the USA to have 96% of its antibiotics produced by any single country, even an ally.\u00a0 But to allow this to occur with a country that is an adversary is unthinkable.\u00a0 It took the pandemic for Americans to be made aware of the complete incompetence of our government.\u00a0 The Obama administration was only responsible for 8 years of this insanity.\u00a0 Joe Biden has been at the highest levels of government for 47 years. \u00a0<\/li>
  9. One could go on to discuss the economy shattering \u201cGreen New Deal\u201d.\u00a0 I could explain the horrible consequences of allowing the government to manage our health care.\u00a0 Think of the VA before Donald Trump. Can people who are struggling to pay for their own health care afford to pay to insure people who are here illegally?\u00a0 Any increase in taxes, corporate or personal, would crush our economy just as it is again gaining steam.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Please consider the above before casting your ballot.  If you believe we live in the greatest nation on earth, why would you want to fundamentally change it?  Even the greatest nation on earth can be improved.  We should always be looking to get better.  Those changes need to be made at the fringes, not at our core values.  For these reasons I believe the values that most Americans hold dear would be erased by a Harris\/Biden presidency.                        <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
